Summary:

Shy, warm-hearted, good-looking Tim Dwight has two women crazy about him. One is a dream girl named Jill. The other is his mum, Jean, a bawdy aging comedienne who doesn't realize she's past her sell-by date for a big break. As Jean tries to make it in show biz, she also struggles to hold her family, including Tim and his disabled brother Mark, together. Will the arrival of Tim's dream girl bust them up?
